I was running for a long time from a friend of mine who turned into a zombie. She chased me into a corner, even though she was a zombie out other friends rooted for her to win, eventually I killed her, to protect myself from being eaten. Our friends didn’t like that so they chased me too, but I outran them, I walked alone in a town I hate until I found my family. We ate together until I found out my brother was infected, he turned and infected my whole family and I had to run again. I just wanted to go home, by then my whole family was gone and so we’re my friends. I was alone.
Dreams involving themes of pursuit, transformation, and loss can often reflect underlying emotions and experiences in waking life. Here’s a breakdown of some key elements from your dream:
Chasing and Pursuit: Running from a zombie version of your friend suggests feelings of fear or anxiety related to a relationship or a situation in your life. Zombies can symbolize the idea of losing someone's essence or the fear of betrayal, especially when friends are rooting for someone who has become a threat. This could point to feelings of isolation or conflict within your social circle.
Transformation of a Friend: Your friend transforming into a zombie may symbolize a change in her behavior or your perception of her. This can also represent feelings of betrayal or a sense that someone you once felt close to has become a source of negativity or danger in your life.
Isolation and Loneliness: After killing the zombie, you faced rejection from your friends. This may indicate a fear of being ostracized or feeling alienated after making difficult decisions to protect yourself. The fact that you ended up walking alone in a town you hate amplifies feelings of dissatisfaction and the desire for belonging.
Family Dynamics: The later part of the dream involving your brother being infected and then spreading it to your family suggests concern for family dynamics and the potential for harm within your loved ones. This might reflect anxieties about losing those connections or the impact of family issues on your own well-being.
The Ending: Finding yourself alone after everything highlights themes of abandonment and the human desire for connection. This could be a manifestation of feelings of loneliness or fear of being alone, especially when you’ve experienced significant losses.
Overall, this dream could symbolize anxiety about relationships, the fear of losing loved ones, the impact of betrayal, and a deep longing for connection and safety. It might be helpful to reflect on your current relationships, any conflicts you may be experiencing, or feelings of isolation that you are dealing with in your waking life.
